with my first post I’d like to show you what projects are currently in progress:
a movie based on a short story I wrote a few years back. I converted it to a screenplay and a friend of mine created a storyboard.
It should have been a live-action film but I somehow never managed to do it so I’m working on a stop-motion version of the movie itself.
status: shooting the movie and creating the soundtrack
- skrik (Naevisus stories I)
the first screenplay I wrote from scratch. I got inspired by Edvard Munch’s “the scream”. It’s a science fiction – detective story with many surrealism images.
I don’t expect to release it this year since I want to get “sleepless” done.
status: on hold, brainstorming ideas for screenplay part II
- space delivery (working title)
I’m currently writing on a TV-show with 8-10 episodes on season 1. The not really good working title “space delivery” gives a hint that it will be a sci-fi series.
This actually will take place in space and other planets and would be best described as “space opera”.
The first draft of the pilot screenplay is done and second episode is currently beeing written.
As skrik this project is set in the Naevisus universe
genre: sci-fi, space opera
status: writing, writing, writing
- different minifigs: female, thin, thick, short, tall
Everybody who played (let’s call it worked) with bricks in a little advanced age came across the question “why are there no different shaped minifigures?”.
You don’t? Well I did since I try to make movies with charakters who should be recognized not only from clothes and hairs.
So one of my main goal at the time is to find the best procedure to create minifigs. Sounds ease? Well apparently it is not.
Plasticine can be a really pain in the ass when it comes to create a stop motion movie.
But more on that later.
That’s it for the first post. I really hope I can release more details on the projects I’m currently working on and the many other projects I have in mind.
